Overview

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent across Air Methods.This role will be based at our corporate office in Greenwood Village, Colorado and will support corporate hiring functions by partnering closely with business leaders to fill key roles. The recruiter will lead both local and national recruiting efforts, utilizing traditional sourcing strategies while also bringing forward innovative, creative approaches to talent acquisition.

 

This position will focus on recruiting across a variety of corporate functions, including leadership and executive roles, human resources, IT, finance and accounting, marketing, and more. We are seeking someone with a strong background in corporate recruiting who can help ensure we are hiring the best possible talent to support the organization’s goals. Experience with aviation recruiting is a plus.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans

    • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for open positions

    • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions

    • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation

    • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need

    • Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues

    • Post positions to appropriate Internet sources

    • Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting

    • Research new ways of suing the Internet for recruitment

    • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates

  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees

    • Locate and document where to find ideal candidates

    • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally

    • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads

    • Create contacts within industry

    • Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings

    • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates

  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives

    • Coordinate college recruiting initiatives

    • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition

    • Develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting

    • Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs

  • Administrative duties and recordkeeping

    • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements

    • Conduct prescreening interviews

    • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

    • Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees

    • Assist in preparing and sending offer packages 

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Additional Job Requirements

  • Regular scheduled attendance

  • Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling

Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.  All employees must follow Air Methods’ employment practices and policies.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 3 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Advanced customer service and phone skills

  • Conducts documented, procedural tasks while escalating more complex challenges

Minimum pay

USD $70,717.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $88,410.00/Yr.
