Job Summary
This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies which drive organizational improvement and deliver measurable results. Prepare data-driven business analyses through information discovery sessions with Engineering and Operations team members to develop and optimize product development and support strategies for ongoing and future client opportunities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide operational recommendations on maintenance control software systems and aviation process development to optimize logistics and aviation operations.
- Provide recommendations to increase efficiencies between technical teams taking into consideration factors such as budget, schedule, performance, and FAA certification requirements.
- Responsible for improving United Rotorcraft's Aerial Firefighting - Firehawk Helicopter program by coordinating a multi-million-dollar research and development effort to obtain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification.
- Provide expertise to cross-functional teams and advise on system and product specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Develop timely consultant reports for aviation product development and certification, process improvement plans and standardization, measurement and efficiency requirements for various areas of Air Methods operations.
- Recommend tools and process optimizations to track technical projects from original concept through final execution and approval.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 10 years of strategic aviation management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum ten years of successfully managing fleet operations, financial auditing, and maintenance control.
