Job Summary
The Regional Outreach Lead develops and drives the regional growth strategy for Base Outreach teams, aligning outreach initiatives with commercial objectives to increase referral volume, market expansion, and strategic healthcare partnerships across multiple regions. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical Leadership, Operations, and Marketing to translate market intelligence and performance data into targeted outreach strategies that expand utilization and strengthen EMS and hospital relationships. Through leadership of Base Outreach Coordinators, the Outreach Lead establishes outreach standards, drives accountability for measurable growth outcomes, and ensures consistent market positioning that differentiates Air Methods through clinical excellence, safety, and service capabilities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Lead and develop the performance of Base Outreach Coordinators (BOCs) in support of Outreach metrics, and overall flight growth objective. Review BOC monthly and quarterly activity and impact, ensuring alignment with strategic growth priorities.
- Partner with BOCs, Sales, Clinical Leadership, Marketing, and Operations to evaluate outreach impact and remove barriers to increased flight requests. Identify community market opportunities to expand presence and increase utilization within underserved or high-growth territories. Guide and refine customer engagement strategies to ensure targeted, value-driven interactions that enhance education, build trust, and drive measurable utilization growth.
- Support strategic planning for Outreach community events, EMS education programs, and PR initiatives designed to increase flight requests which includes “talking points”, marketing materials, and SWAG that highlight clinical excellence, response capabilities, safety outcomes, and service differentiation.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training for BOCs, Account Executives, and other teammates on Outreach strategies, and growth objectives to continuously improve outreach effectiveness.
- Review and approve industry sponsorships and community event participation to ensure alignment with growth strategy.
- Partner with Corporate Communications to gather data for media advisories, press releases, and patient success stories. Support social media coordination and outreach storytelling initiatives that reinforce community trust and market growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and support new base openings and program anniversaries, ensuring events are strategically leveraged to increase awareness and outreach efforts to support successful launches.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred; and three (3) or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of (3) years’ experience in outreach, project management, healthcare growth, or commercial strategy
- Experience in medical transportation services or health care preferred
- Healthcare acumen preferred
- Track record of exceeding company KPI’s
