Overview

Job Summary

Supports department workflow activities for the planning, analysis, and sustainment of inventory processes.  Delivers cost metrics by applying an analytical approach to improving inventory processes, through min-max implementation and obsolescence reduction.  Performs duties within Inventory Management system (RAMCO) associated with documenting and approving inventory.   Provides Inventory analysis and improvement recommendations to support business operations.  Deploys annual inventory process for company locations, including preparation, documentation, corrections, and reporting.  Actively engages in on-site auditing protocol for process sustainment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Plans inventory par values to ensure timely reorder of quantities to meet inventory value objectives against forecasted parts usage. Performs necessary analysis to set up inventory stocking levels and determine parts obsolescence. 

• Determines frequency and value of inventory replenishment through comprehensive inventory velocity/consumption analysis.  Uses similar analytics to determine location of inventory placement within network to minimize AOG occurrence and maximize in service rate of aircraft.   Publishes and analyzes reports for trends and needed corrective actions.

• Leads annual inventory process for company locations. Performs on site audits, including cycle counts and reconciliations. Ensures accuracy of inventory data and master data within Ramco, performs periodic reviews of supply chain inventory to ensure seamless flow of information from consumption to forecast to planning to procurement, the right item at the right time in the right place.

• Utilize continuous improvement approach to deliver results on self-driven projects that align with Departmental Goals.

• Prepares, disseminates, and performs quality checks on reports as assigned.

• Other Supply Chain duties as assigned.

• Ensures all ISO, FAA Airworthiness,  and Sarbanes Oxley Requirements are met            

• Regular attendance

• Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 15%

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university in business or technical field and one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines

Computer Skills

• ERP, MRP II or APICS Certificate

Minimum pay

USD $61,225.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $80,377.50/Yr.
