Job Summary
The Production Control Lead plays a pivotal role in our organization by providing crucial support to all team members. This role centers on driving process enhancements and optimizing productivity while steering production activities on the shop floor in the desired direction. The primary aim of this position is to augment leadership presence on the production floor and act as a liaison between the workforce and management, advocating for the necessary resources and improvements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following.
• Assist in the coordination of daily activities with Production Shop supervisor.
• Assist 145 Leads with daily tasks and/or challenges as needed.
• Assist UR team members with anything that is required from the management team.
• Train new employees on United Rotorcraft processes & procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
Additional Job Requirements
Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Air Methods’ employment practices and policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. May provide guidance to less experienced staff and/or lead projects.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five to eight years’ of related professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred
Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines
Computer Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Previous experience with Infor Visual ERP/MRP preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• A & P Airframe and Powerplant
