Overview

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Maintain pilot records
• Verify compliance with current Federal Aviation Regulations
• Develop pilot recordkeeping policies in accordance with federal guidelines
• Data entries for check rides, training and new hire pilots
• Maintain and modify pilot database to meet training needs
• Assure timely tracking and notification for medical certificates
• Create new hire files for pilots and verify accuracy of all paperwork, taking action to correct, when needed
• Create database reports for Regional Aviation Manager (RAD), Regional Aviation Manager (RAM), and Area Manager
• Perform monthly audit of 25% of the pilot’s records and purge outdated records
• Maintain Daily Flight Log/Load Manifest sheets (DFL’s); returning those with errors to the appropriate base for corrections
• Track and file pilots’ monthly duties
• Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) to three (3) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Aviation Experience is preferred

Skills

• Familiarity with office equipment such as fax/copier/scanner
• Highly proficient proofreading, spelling, grammatical and phone skills.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines.
• Ability to discreetly handle confidential information.
• Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude in dealing with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Computer Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Access, Excel and Outlook

USD $19.50/Hr.

Maximum Pay

USD $21.50/Hr.
