Job Summary
Responsible for all functions of multi-state, in- house, full cycle bi-weekly payroll, including time and attendance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
• Audit time and attendance system to ensure accuracy of hours reported
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Collect and prepare information on New Hires, Terms, and Leave of Absence
• Calculate retroactive pay
• Process and maintain garnishment information
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Gather data to build templates for payroll processing, including proper authorization.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with teammates
• Ensure deadlines are met and payroll reports are produced accurately
• Work alongside with Human Resources, Accounting and Tax
• Other Duties as assigned

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and four to six years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4 years’ experience processing In house full cycle multi-state payroll.
• Experience working in a company with more than 3,000 employees
• Accounting and auditing experience preferred.
Skills
• Decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to think “outside the box”.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a team orientated atmosphere
• Strong written and verbal communication.
Computer Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Work, Excel and Outlook.
• Ultimate Software experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• FPC or CPP preferred
