Job Summary
*** $5,000 Annual location stipend ***
At this location you will work a 15/13 schedule with duty housing. It is preferred that you have rotor experience or PT-6 experience and would be nice to be on the EC130 and/or the PC-12 as that will be your assigned aircraft to the base.
Responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, including planning maintenance efficiently and effectively to maximize aircraft availability while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Air Methods’ policies and procedures. Ensures operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals. Provide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
County Seat of Eddy County; located in the Chihuahuan Desert along the Pecos River, at 3,295 ft elevation.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred, active/current A&P REQUIRED
• FAR 135 operations preferred
Skills
• Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
• Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
• Ability to read and understand various documents such as 337’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s, etc.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
Computer Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• RAMCO experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• FAA A&P License in good standing.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) Preferred
