Overview

Job Summary

Clinical interns work alongside clinical professional staff. They are assigned a range of duties that involve administrative tasks and shadowing in our clinical education department. They may work on educational projects, or work in a support role for clinical, education, and quality. Their assignments are intended to support the clinical team, and to provide a rich growth experience for the intern.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:  

  • Clinical related projects and assignments
  • Clinical education analysis related to projects and assignments
  • Support activity such SimEX labs, attend training events, shadow clinicians at a base, possible shadow 3rd rider experience, attend INDOC, assist with any administrative tasks
  • Reviewing and checking documents prepared by others
  • Presenting data from work-study program
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.  All employees must follow Air Methods’ employment practices and policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.           

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (BS) or master’s degree (M.A.) in the healthcare environment from a four-year college or university, however other technical majors will be considered
  • Ability to consistently follow set procedures.

Skills

  • Strong organizational aptitude, able to understand complex data structures effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and has a strong attention for detail.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • None

USD $20.00/Hr.
