Overview

Job Summary

Responsible to fulfill material requests from field bases or 145 maintenance facilities for parts and supplies necessary to complete aircraft maintenance and operations in a timely manner to meet requested due dates.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Performs picking and processing of Material Requests for aircraft parts, goods and/or supplies for field and/or 145 maintenance facilities and local shops while verifying airworthiness of parts prior to releasing for shipment.
• Uses Ramco Aviation Software for verifying records, posting, and other similar duties.
• Works under a certain degree of pressure to meet or exceed material request due dates while engaging white glove shipping vendors for next flight out packages to field bases. Also in liaison with the materials buyers and repair coordinators for 145 work orders.
• Monitors shelf life of parts ensuring parts are pulled on a first in-first out basis.
• Process return to stock inventory from 145 work orders. Process and manage repair and exchange inventories to and from 145 work orders. (145 dept. only)
• Participates in restock of parts inventory and kits onto shelves to and from other departments using forklifts, pallet jacks, casts, and dollies.
• Other duties as assigned could include but not limited to safe operations in compliance with Air Methods Safety management System (SMS) and participation in 6S lean initiative for organization and cleanliness of assigned work areas.

Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Air Methods’ employment practices and policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 to 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Warehouse Experience in a parts picking environment.
Skills
• Good communication skills and demeanor while working phones with field base personnel.
• Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
• Dependable and self-motivated

Computer Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Previous Ramco experience a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Forklift Certification preferred
