Job Summary
Responsible for oversight of the Maintenance Support Pilot organization. Ensures that maintenance support pilots are properly trained and utilized effectively to conduct maintenance flights and aircraft movement. Provides standards and guidance to ensure high quality and optimal functionality of Air Methods aircraft, following maintenance work. Collaborates with maintenance planning and regional maintenance leadership to align task prioritization and asset allocation. Manages the development of pilot pathway program. Mentors program pilots and aides in the development of professional skills and knowledge to ensure successful program growth. This manager may be homebased, excluding AK and HI.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Maintenance Support Pilot organization. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. For Exempt Managers: Managers that carry out these responsibilities for two or more employees will have significant input in hiring and termination decisions.
